Breast Milk Depot
SEK Multi-County Health Department is thrilled to be partnering with the Oklahoma Mothers' Milk Bank (OMMB) to bring a milk donor drop-off site to our Iola, KS location!

Our partnership with OMMB makes it easier for local families to donate breast milk, helping babies in need of this vital nutrition. To become a breast milk donor, simply call the Oklahoma Mothers' Milk Bank for a short phone screening to test donor eligibility.
Breast Milk Donations
What You Need to Know:
- There is no minimum or maximum amount you may donate at one time. Donors are asked to commit to donating 100 ounces before their baby turns one year old.
- The milk bank receives frozen breast milk that has previously been stored in freezers. It is recommended it be placed in freezer bags or other disposable container.
- After the pasteurization process and lab testing, donor breastmilk is sent primarily to local Neonatal Intensive Care Units. Some out-of-state hospitals also receive donor breastmilk for their NICU's.
- Once the donor is determined eligible, OMMB will provide instructions to drop off milk to any of our locations - Anderson, Allen, Bourbon and Woodson Counties.
